Engaged Scholarship constitutes work that usually falls outside of the mainstream disciplines that our Association has defined within our book award categories; it may include work that advocates for and/or analyzes public policy, education, social work, urban planning, environmental issues, scientific advancement, and health. This category includes articles, institute working papers, and briefs.
