Assistant Professor of English, Stonehill College This position is part of a College cluster hire, in conjunction with the Center for the Study of Race, Ethnicity, and Social Justice (CRES), of three tenure-track faculty specializing in topics related to race, ethnicity, and social justice in their respective fields. We welcome applications from scholars whose work in Postcolonial Studies engages substantially in contemporary efforts to decolonize the English literary canon and curriculum, and whose teaching enjoins students to understand global anglophone literatures and cultures within transnational contexts. Secondary fields of interest are open, but we particularly encourage candidates with sub-specialties in any of the following: critical race and ethnicity studies, literatures and cultures of the Black Diaspora, Black feminist theory, and queer of color critique.
