The Department of Sociology of Hunter College of the City University of New York (CUNY) seeks to fill at least two faculty lines at the Assistant or Associate Professor level beginning in September 2023. We are especially interested in candidates with expertise in one of the following: 1) immigration, race/ethnicity, and xenophobia; 2) public health, the environment, and demography; and 3) work, labor, and occupations. Additional strengths in digital sociology and/or public policy are a plus. We are located in New York City, and offer a liberal arts major as well as a master’s program to a large, diverse and vibrant student body.
