This experience will include a conversation between the Boston Public Library’s Community History Department, Northeastern University’s Digital Scholarship Group, and the Immigrant History Trail. Ranging from a digital directory that collates different archives to oral history backpacks that community members can grab on the go, this panel will expand on what is possible through collaboration. The conversation will be accompanied by a 45 min walking tour around Boston Chinatown led by members of the Immigrant History Trail that activate immigrant stories shared by community members. This program is curated by Sung-Min Kim, PhD student in Theatre and Performance Studies at Tufts University.
