Disability Studies

The field of disability studies has grown over the past two decades to take the intersection of race with disability more seriously. The disability studies section of the Association for Asian American Studies exists to allow for the development of an Asian American Disability Politics. It offers scholars working at the intersection of Asian American and disability studies another resource – offering space, opportunities for dialogue, and supports for publication – to assist their research.
